GeoAnc Calculation

Where an outer leaf is anchored not to a continuous backing structure but to columns, the tie pattern changes. This calculation determines the maximum area per tie and translates that into a tie grid that is practical to install on site.

When We Use This

  • An outer leaf for a frame structure with columns
  • Anchoring where the column spacing determines the grid
  • The choice of tie type for a given cavity width

Basis

  • NEN-EN 1996-1-1 (Eurocode 6)
  • NEN-EN 1991-1-4 (wind load)

The calculation follows these standards. You receive a calculation report in which the assumptions and the verification are traceable.
