Reinforcement for waterproofing systems

Reinforcement for waterproofing systems in basements, swimming pools, water barriers and hydraulic structures does not corrode under permanent contact with water. Hydro is designed for this and combines a reinforcement mesh with polymer-cement systems.

Why use reinforcement for waterproofing?

Hydro is specially developed for waterproofing systems and reinforces surfaces permanently exposed to water, such as swimming pool edges, flat roofs, terraces and balconies. It combines a high-quality reinforcement mesh with polymer-cement systems for flat surfaces. Because the material does not corrode, the reinforcement stays reliable in moist environments where steel would rust.

Which products suit waterproofing

Hydro is the specific product for waterproofing systems. GRID Carbon can additionally be used in water-retaining concrete structures and hydraulic structures where structural reinforcement is also required.

Frequently asked questions

Is Hydro suitable for swimming pools?

Yes, Hydro reinforces, among other things, swimming pool edges and other surfaces permanently exposed to water.

What is the difference with reinforcement in dry environments?

Hydro combines the reinforcement mesh with polymer-cement systems specifically developed for flat, water-exposed surfaces; dry applications typically use a different product from the range.

Is this reinforcement also suitable for flat roofs and balconies?

Yes, besides swimming pool edges, Hydro also reinforces flat roofs, terraces and balconies, all surfaces permanently exposed to water.
