A reinforcement mesh in the floor screed prevents cracks during the curing of cement, anhydrite and underfloor heating screeds. Primafloor, ANTICRACK and FLEX GRID are designed for this and are CE marked in accordance with EAD 260057-00-0303.
Not every floor screed requires reinforcement, but for a bonded, floating, unbonded or heated screed, a reinforcement mesh considerably reduces the risk of cracking during the critical drying and curing period. Primafloor is a flexible glass, carbon or basalt fibre reinforcement mesh designed for this, and is non-magnetic and corrosion-free.
Primafloor minimises cracks during the critical 28-day drying and curing period of bonded, floating, unbonded and underfloor heating screeds. ANTICRACK is a carbon reinforcement mesh with excellent bonding behaviour for optimal crack distribution and small cracks. FLEX GRID is flexible and can be cut to size.
| Product | Material | Screed type |
|---|---|---|
| Primafloor | Glass, carbon or basalt fibre | Bonded, floating, unbonded, underfloor heating |
| ANTICRACK | Carbon | Crack distribution, small cracks |
| FLEX GRID | Carbon, AR glass, basalt or hybrid | Flexible, cut to size |
The reinforcement mesh is placed at the correct height in the screed mortar before it is finished, with an overlap between the sheets as indicated on the technical data sheet. The products are lightweight and easy to cut to size.
Primafloor is CE marked in accordance with EAD 260057-00-0303, the same standard as BRIKSY. The exact application limits are given on the technical data sheet of the chosen product.
Primafloor is available in glass, carbon or basalt fibre and is specifically suitable for underfloor heating screeds in addition to bonded, floating and unbonded screeds.
Primafloor and ANTICRACK are CE marked in accordance with EAD 260057-00-0303 and designed for crack prevention in professional screeds, with documented tensile strength on the technical data sheet.
